God grows tired of Moses whining and suggest he make his brother Aaron, who we haven’t really heard about upon until now, do it. Moses and Aaron go to Pharaoh and ask him to let the slaves go and worship their God. What does Pharaoh say?
Sure, why not? Yes he kind of murders babies and enslaves the very people whose ancestors got Egypt out of a real jam, but that’s just on the surface. On the inside he’s really sweet—the kind of guy who makes a slave sing Kelly Clarkson on karaoke each night, and then beats them senselessly until he tires and falls asleep.
You kidding? Why would he ever agree to this? If they go who’s going to mow their lawns?
