All things considered, Joseph didn’t have it so bad. Sure he was a slave and all, but it’s not like he was cleaning toilets or anything. This all changed when the wife of his master developed a giant crush on Joseph and told him to sleep with her. Joseph knew this was wrong and said no, so his wife left and told her husband that Joseph tried to rape her. Joseph is shipped off to prison where he becomes a very likable person. Everyone tells him they’ll remember him when they get out, but nobody ever does. Until one day somebody does. He shows profound wisdom to the Pharaoh, who not only has him released from prison, but makes him his number two man. After several years of power, a famine comes across the land and Joseph’s brothers come to beg for food—only they have no idea the person they’re begging from is the brother they sold off into slavery. But Joseph remembers. What does Joseph do?
